III to III for a fellow blogger

Update:
I have a snail mail addy for Steve and Rose.

229 W Johnson St
Norman, OK 73069

God bless each and every one of you who have helped. You are the heart and spirit of this great country.
You are the III.

I've seen the power of those words, the call to action that turns normal everyday folk into quiet heroes. I also know that we're all average folk with bills and challenges and months where there's  more bills than money.  So what do you do when you see one of your breathren sinking? You count your pennies, you cut out some extras, and you lend a hand.

I've known Steven (xenolith, The Voices in My Head) for almost a year. He's a good man, good husband, good Patriot. And he's one of those who'd never ask for help until his back was against the wall and he was facing the shit. He's asked for help.

None of us has the magic wand to wave away financial troubles, but most of us can scrape together a few bucks for a friend. Think about it, if only 5 people could afford $50, that's $250. But if 50 people can donate $10, that's double. Enough pebbles can fill a lake. Little blessings can save a soul.

III to III folks, we have to look after our own. If lots of folks does even just a few bucks, it adds up for a family in need. We are the community. I just gave.

I don't have a credit card or other such accounts such as PayPal, etc.
Is there a way to get something to Xenolith by snail mail? If he doesn't want it posted, you could send it directly to my email. Use the last address I sent from, the old NYCAP.rr.com one is now defunct. Otherwise, I'm stuck....

Thanks Darlin'

I had the same question posted above (no on-line account - snail mail address ?) and hope to get one to send a donation to. I sent a request for one this morning.

Sounds like he's had a really rough ride - hope these efforts keeps his nose above water.

Angel,

My preference is to help off-line.

Do you have an address for "Xeno"?

Thanks. You are doing a good thing.

To all that are asking about a snail mail address:
He has posted his mailing address on the donation site.

Riverrider, there is a button on the donation site for you to remain anon.

Um, wirecutter? The snail mail is at the top of the post under the big bold "UPDATE". But thanks for dropping by and not banning me....

It does my spirit good to see that America is alive and well in this community. Like most, I have had hard times, and it SUCKS to ask for help. But if it has to be done, it is comforting to know that there is a LOT of people who will have my back, just for the asking. Thanks, Angle, for all you do, and for helping to focus us on this. Oh, and surly you must have something that needs polishing? I so do want to earn my way here...
