Aw Shit

Winds 50 mph, 25 inches expected, lights and tv are flickering, and internet is getting wonky.

If'n y'all don't hear from me for a while, could you please send out a couple of St. Bernards with whiskey and tequila? Dammit, one thing I forgot to prep.

Love y'all,

Angel

  5. Good Luck, hope it blows over. It looks like you should be OK, nothing a trip to the liquor store shouldn't fix.

  6. This got me thinking - uh oh!

Bill Whittle is involved with a conservative movie production biz, to counter the damage that hollyweird does to the masses. Glenn Beck has his own network.

What we need is a conservative sattelite provider. A company that supplies internet and TV service.

I'm sure you all know that by subscribing to the current tv suppliers, you are feeding the beast. Example: 6 cents of the bill you have been paying has gone directly to al gore!!!

That's part of the reason I got rid of cable tv 6 years ago. The current sattelite suppliers are no better - they are part of the system. Of course if shit hits the fan, the gov will have the internet shut down. But if we had our own sattelite, we could have something called "rightnet". This would be a internet connecting patriots.

OK, I've some up with the idea. Now it's up to you all to run with it! lol

So how long do you suppose that a "rightnet" satellite could stay in orbit before the collective targeted it with the space version of a drone...all in the name of national security of course...

  8. I have the two boxes of wine, so I should be good for a day or two.

Been thinking about getting into ham radio, but isn't that .gov regulated somehow?

  9. Trinity - Why our sattelite would be armed, just like the patriots it serves! There are plenty of "gamer' patriots that would be only too happy to run the controls on that puppy!

  10. You need a license to broadcast but not to listen. Also, in a SHTF situation no rules apply, broadcast away. Here's a link to clubs in TX. Might be worth looking into...
Have some equipment, decent antennas but no license (yet) - no time.
