I have decided to start training
for my first ever 5K.

OMG, I think I just saw an ab.

  1. Did my last 10 k about 10 years ago. I walk and hike in the mountains mostly now. Decided I didn't want to be completely gimped out as I get older. I love to run, but it's a bitch on your bones, and joints, and tendons.

    Go for it - you're young. You'll feel like a million bucks for finishing that first 5k!

  3. Young?! timbo, I'm almost 47. My knees sound like Rice Krispies on crack. I'm not looking to set any records, I just want to finish without embarrassing myself. :-P
