Here is a question, how did people get anything done in those days? I imagine this would take hours just to find what you were looking for, then you would have to read it, and do reports and stuff on it...

Exactly, Miss V. You had a job, you had an outline and focus, and you had a handful of 3x5 lined index cards for notes. This is how I researched my Master's thesis.
