Good Morning!

Love sleeping in on a Sunday morning.... until one of the kiddos smacks you in the head with a frozen pack of bacon. Rise and shine, y'all. Gonna be a good one.

    We had bacon, homemade waffles and fresh fruit. And bacon. Did I mention bacon?

    Alas, I skipped the bacon this morning.

    Instead, I had a big, smoked, pork chop with the eggs.

    One egg? I won't heat up the stove for less that 3 eggs.

    This morning I had sausage gravy on toast with 3 over easy eggs thrown on top. The gravy was left over from the visit by the grandsons, they love my biscuits and gravy.

    I just put 12 pounds of bacon on to cure yesterday. I'll smoke it along with a brisket next weekend. Cut them all up with the food slicer and we'll be all set.

    This pic needs to be remade with the weapon turned over. That's the wrong way for it to be lying... sets my teeth on edge.
