Congrats on the 1,000. I've been piddling around for about 4 years and I still haven't hit that mark yet.
Just my humble opinion on the precious metals:
When TSHTF, you can't feed or protect your family with silver or gold. Most people don't know the actual value of the stuff, but they do know the value of a tin of beans or a dozen eggs, or that a bullet will prevent them from taking what's yours.
Well, as I told wc, prolific pondering isn't the same as profound punditry.
ccbpc, I look at it the same way they tell you to plan retirement funds. A balance of near, middle, and future needs. The food and bullets are near needs, tools and building skills are intermediate, and gold and silver long-term.
Buy silver if you can find it.
ReplyDeleteThe dealers that have it are sitting on it. They told me five weeks to get eagles. Even the 90%
is getting hard to find
Congratulations on your 10,000!!!
ReplyDeleteWoo-hoo!
Thanks wirecutter! Don't know if that's a typo or if you're implying that it "feels" like 10,000 or if you're hedging your bets...
ReplyDeleteCongrats you sexy redhead...Thank you for posting maybe we can all get back to real money and lead better lives because of it...
ReplyDeleteIf you can't afford silver buy lead.
ReplyDeletecongrats on 1000 I am going to try and catch up tonight gotta get busy and on buy silver day I will be on the road but I've got a nice stash already
ReplyDeleteSilver might be a cheaper option than lead right now:-)

ReplyDeleteAngel is right, diversify. Some of everything. Or a lot of everything.
Sometimes I can't see the videos on the iPad. Ok on desktop. Could you include the link if it isn't too much trouble?
Thanks,
