Bic pen (used to cost 19 cents) and a cassette tape (could be recorded on both sides for approx. 90 minutes of music) One could take the pen and use it to turn the tape (by inserting it into the sprocket - so I guess a sexual innuendo) to either get to a certain spot or else to assist in getting it untangles - wait, nope they never did that. Yep, I'm old!
