As we run around, parades and memorials, cookouts and friends and families, let's not lose sight of what we're remembering.
The sacrifices made, and those who continue to make them.
Ask yourselves, "For what?"
And if you don't like the answer, do something to get closer to what our Forefathers fought and died to build and defend.
Liberty isn't dead yet.

ReplyDeleteIn my family this day is allways personal My family has had at least one killed or die of wounds in every American war (Moms family got here in 1604 -dads in 1699) We lost 12 just to WW-2, Korea, Viet Nam.(My step dad died of Agent Orange 2 years ago he did four tours in Vietnam) I can boast of Generals in the American Revolution, Officers on both sides in the civil war and privet's at the Alamo. Say a prayer today that all the men who died may rest in peace- I will ---Ray
