I'm honestly too tired to do anything fancy with this one. Summation: Temple, Texas Armed Come and Take Them protest march goes off without a hitch. Very successful. Go read.

Thanks WiscoDave for the link.
Dang! Wish I'd've known about that. Not sure if I could have busted away from work, but still....those videos are full of AR's and AK's and other rifles....needs a Mosin in there somewhere!
ReplyDeleteCall in sick, Rabid, ~cough, cough~ I think what's going on is making all of us a little sick.
ReplyDeleteMarches of this sort need to be happening in New Jersey, New York, California, Washington, Oregon, D.C., Connecticut, Massachusetts, in every single liberal stronghold in this country. The word needs to spread that lawful gun owners aren't the problem and that laws already on the books will suffice if they are enforced properly.
ReplyDeleteI agree with ccbpc. This needs to happen much more often all over the country.
ReplyDeleteQuite frankly, I am very pleasantly surprised that the local cops didn't haul every last one of them away. Perhaps the march conflicted with the donut convention.
This needs to happen all over the country.
ReplyDeleteNorth Colorado may split from the rest of Colorado. The momentum is gaining. Momentum is gaining. It needs to gain faster though.
Hmmmm....Gun-Owners' BBQ! Bring your preferred firearm, and could someone please volunteer to bring napkins this year?
ReplyDeleteFunny thing, back when the ammo shortage happened, some lib somewhere predicted gunfights over the few boxes that trickled in to the stores. I was in Wallyworld today (not by choice...they have decent prices on oil changes), and wandered down the ammo aisle. No ammo in stock. The oddest thing happened....nothing! I wandered over to electronics without managing to draw my firearm. Wow. Whoda thunkit...a lib was EFFIN WRONG!
Son_of_Liberty: North Colorado doesn't need to split from the rest of us(that would leave those of us in CS screwed), we just need the majority of Denver to suddenly come down with a case of "Mysterious Circumstances."
ReplyDeleteColorado is the US in a microcosm. The state is awesome, so garbage from everywhere else comes here and tries to drag us down.
Sounds like the folks in Colorado should do to their capital city, what a bunch of us in Texas want to do to ours: wall it off!
ReplyDeleteBTW cool blog! I came over from Pissed's place.
Thank you Mattexian! And welcome. I don't think "walling it off" is going to do the trick. Maybe burying it under 3 ft of steel reinforced concrete. ;-)
ReplyDeleteAnd dammit, now I owe Pissed cookies...
