Okay, I'm nowhere NEAR the holster slut wirecutter is, but I will admit to having several fashionable options for my EDC. I do have a Flashbang holster; and while I like it just fine, it doesn't work with all of my bras. Strapless, specifically. Hook anything larger than a derringer to a strapless and suddenly you have a belt.
Femme Fatale has come out with an absolutely sexy Corset Holster; a variety of colors, sexy lace, and completely independent of your bra. You can wear it with a strapless or none at all, if you want to be saucy. Guns and Lace has a really good review video. Think about this as a head's up Valentine's Day gift for the love of your life. Lingerie, holster, win-win.
Still searching for the ultimate thigh holster....

How hard would it be to draw from that corset, especially if your dress isn't low-cut? The butt of that pistol in the picture looks pretty well buried in there.

ReplyDeletePictures?
Soo many loaded jokes.
ReplyDeleteAs for the thigh holster, it's pretty much a novelty. For any gun of significant weight, the supporting straps have to be too tight to be comfortable. Unless you have inverted bowling pin thighs to hold them up.
But if you find one that works, feel free to share the pics.
K, to be perfectly honest, there are no great solutions for women wearing dresses. My preferred holster is inner pants. But when you're not wearing pants.... It can work with some skirts, but not very well. Not at all with dresses. Your options are up the skirt or down the neckline. Depending on the length and fullness of the skirt, that can be awkward. A good thigh holster could solve a multitude of issues.
ReplyDeleteRobert, NO.

constitutional carry
Have you looked at this one? The straps should make it easier to wear, and would look good walking around Texas like I do.

I just ordered one for my wife, and told them I learned about them from this blog.
ReplyDeleteVery cool, Dr.MadJack! Please let me know how she likes it and if it works for her.
ReplyDeleteThe Femme Fatale Corset holster will hold a variety of weapons in it's 8"x5 1/2" pocket -- almost all .380s & compact 9mm--most guns that considered "concealed carry" weapons.
ReplyDeleteThe Femme Fatale Corset is constructed of sturdy corset elastic and hold your weapon securely in place. It will not slip & does not end up "like a belt".
The Femme Fatale Corset is designed for wear with pants, shorts or a skirt and a shirt or blouse. Draw is very easy, a firm hand causes the elastic pocket to simply move away.
For a high-necked dress, the corset is not the correct option. The Femme Fatale Garter holster is the correct carry option for under a dress or skirt.
