It goes beyond states vs feds....this will play out black vs white, urban vs rural, liberal vs conservative.......it will be ugly beyond the ability of most people to concieve.
Take a step back and look at that a moment. It still comes down to states vs. fed. Minorities (not all), urban (majority pop), and liberals are who keep the fed in power and feeding it more, surrendering liberties left and right. Your basic rural, white conservatives are the ones who'll be fighting to restore states' rights and individual liberties.
Haha. I don't see any state governments being even remotely rebellious. They all depend too much on the federal stipends.
When rebellion comes, it will come at the local level, started first among those few people who can safely be dismissed as nutjobs because they reached their breaking points first. Then the oppressed minorities (white guys with jobs) will decide that democracy was working fine when they were the majority but not so much now. The first few years will be the hardest since the middle class white guys with jobs are very invested in stable society. Rebellion does not come naturally to them. They will have to learn it through bitter experience.
