The Tow Fucking Truck

As you can see, there's no license plate on that truck.
Drove all the way home on FMs.
But I have to admit, the scenery was worth it.
Google Tule Canyon and Lake Mackenzie.
Didn't take any on the inside, but it's not pretty.
However, the two bench seats in the cab
are roomy enough for an orgy.

  3. Around here it would be 1000 pounds lighter because it would be 90% rust from the floors up.

  5. It needs new tires, it's not a dually, bet it only has a 350, other than that and what you already told us, it looks like a good light duty rig.

  7. Wow, not just a tow-truck, but a truck that actually HAS SEX with tows?

    ...

I know there's porn of a truck and a TOW missile getting it on. I just know it.

  9. You know, sometimes I'm as surprised at what I *don't* get sent to the corner for as what I do.

  10. What are his plans for it? What does he want to do with it? It doesn't have a wheel lift so you can't tow any cars made after the early '80's, or trucks made after after the late '90's. Also the bed extends too far behind the rear wheels. In case you haven't noticed, serious tow trucks' beds terminate directly behind the rear spring shackles. Also I would imagine that the boom needs an additional cable running from the top of it to some type of sturdy structure immediately behind the cab for additional strength.

  11. SFB sounds a lot like my brother in law. While he was unemployed, living off his credit cards and savings, he bought a truck that didn't even have working windshield wipers in the hopes of converting it to a tow truck. He never converted it and it is just sitting at his place rusting. Just before he got a job a Wally world, he spent his last $89 on a hydroponics kit. Since then he has lost the Wally world job, but that is a story for another day.

I will keep you in my thoughts.

  12. I have to say that it makes me smile to know that when you see that truck you see "room for an orgy". lol

  13. SFB is spouse and the Cute Chicks dad. The reason I stay is half fear of trying to make it on my own with two autistic kids, and half that as crappy a spouse as he is, he's a pretty good dad.

To my knowledge, and this could change, he has no plans on towing anything. He does, however, have plans of converting it to CNG. We'll see what happens. We've been through 9 trucks and two motorcycles in a little over 3 years. He doesn't keep anything very long.

  14. All this time I've thought "hiswiserangel" was just a lighthearted dig at your other half. Seems I was wrong. You are definitely his MUCH WISER Angel!

  15. Heh. "Orgy". The inner workings of your mind, dear Lady, are a joy to behold. Maybe someday you could make those ideas reality.

  16. Wow, that rig is cooool...

  17. Gotta have it - I understand completely. It's a guy thing, Angel.
But what I don't understand is why he had to have THAT.
Besides, a 1 ton flatbed looks fucking stupid without duals.

Hey, y'all got all that extra money laying around, send some my way. There's a bunch of shit I got no use for that I gotta have.

  18. Howdy Lady,
As a long time owner of a towing company. These are just my thoughts about your new Chebby truck. Unless the SFB is planning on putting dual wheel extenders, and overload springs on the rear end. He will be very limited to light weight trucks & cars.I gotta tell you firsthand, that it is NOT a tow truck. It is a sling truck, with a very lightweight boom, that will have very limited uses. The unit that is bolted/sitting on the truck bed,is probably a old style slide in Peirce.(or a home built copy slide in) They were made to be installed in a unmarked standard pickup truck, for sneaky repossession work. A sling truck can not be used on very many modern vehicles, newer then late 1990's models. As a sling is made to wrap around steel bumpers, or timber dunnage under a vehicles frame.
More then likely this p/u was used as a shop truck, to move vehicles in a repair/body shop.

  19. He is looking for a dream truck, something he can mold into a "KOOL RIDE."
Maybe this will be the one.
