Damn, I ain't never seen a snake do that, and I used to live in the swamp south Alabama with all the Eastern Diamond backs and water moccasins hanging from the trees and chasing me on my riding lawn mower...
Yet another reason why Australia was originally a penal colony - people sent to live "down under" eventually grow to accept nightmarish realities such as this roof-living carpet snake (a member of the python family).
