Life goes on

Last week will always and forever be remembered by me as Hell Week. And not because of Halloween. I'm not going to get into specifics, or whiny bitch sessions, or woe is me pity parties. Just suffice it to say I got slammed, trashed and thrown a couple of curve balls that I was kind of expecting. I'm facing a very uncertain future, and I'm pretty much terrified. Friends keep assuring me that I'm stronger and tougher that I'm feeling right now; I'll take their words for it since at this particular moment I'm looking for a corner to crawl into where I can lick my wounds and whimper.

Posting is going to be light and sporadic, but I'll try to keep y'all entertained.

  2. Entertained nothing! Informed, yes! Let us know how we can help! You're a great woman (despite the red hair ;) )! I'm pushing for you, lovely lady. But for God's sake, know that you're not going through this stuff on your own!

  5. I really appreciate the offers of help, but this is a family issue, and I don't feel comfortable discussing in detail on a public forum. A road I'm going to have to walk alone. But I will gladly take all the prayers and positive energy y'all can spare.

  9. Angel, you might think you're walking it alone, but you aren't.

My guess is that if you look behind you, there is only one set of footprints. That's because He is carrying you right now.

    And we are too.

  11. Prayers for you and the family. Remember my favorite saying, "Instead of telling God how big your problems are, Tell your problems how big your God is."

  12. My condolences ma'am. But I hope you know you have a lot of friends in your corner, so if you need to vent, that is what friends are for. Hope your kids are doing great.

And yeah, you are tougher than you think. Put the big girl panties on and deal with it - ignoring it will not make it go away.

  13. Prayers and Positive Energy heading toward you and dang, I'm in Texas so they will arrive fresh and full-powered!.

Some roads you do have to walk alone. Almost all of them in fact.

May you find your way to firm ground, and soon.

    I sure enjoy your blog.
