I had plans, we were going to grandma and Poppy's for a double trouble birthday dinner and mom's Better Than Sex cake (it isn't, but she tries), and opening presents that BQ has no interest in. Funny thing about autism, it kind of erases the greed gene. She has no concept of material possession. She'll get a bunch of gifts and then try to leave them there because, well duh, the belong where she found them. Part of the environment, you know? So I sneak them into the momvan to be brought into her home environment gradually. I tried to do it in front of her once, and it royally pissed her off that I was screwing with the grandparent's environment.
But plans change. When you have kids, plans ALWAYS change. Yesterday morning, Teen Queen woke up puking, BQ went on to school only to be picked up at lunch because she was.....puking. Last night was miserable for them both, and today, well today I'm doing linens. Lots and lots of linens. And cleaning bathrooms. And washing everything down with Lysol.
So, if you don't hear from me for a while, I'm probably puking.
Well, Happy birthday to the pair of ya.
ReplyDeleteWishing both of you, the Happiest of Birthdays!!!!
ReplyDeleteHappy Birthday! You don't look a day over 30...and after today, you probably won't feel a day under 60.

ReplyDeleteHappy Birthday to you and Baby Queen. I hope the girls get over their puking and you don't get it.
ReplyDeleteWe had some puketastic nasties a couple of weeks ago, but thankfully the nasties were only for 48 hours.
