  1. It's called "Schroedinger's Cookie Box", similar to his famous thought experiment with cats. Except with this version, you don't know whether the tin contains cookies or sewing/knitting supplies till you open it. Up until you open it, the tin contains both in a juxtapositions state.

  2. Holy crap, I had forgotten about that until just now.
    My Grandmother used to keep her sewing things in one of those cookie tins. She has been gone over thirty years now but you just brought back some vivid memories.

    OK, now I have one for you.

    Do you keep a tin can with bacon grease on the back of the stove to cook with?

  3. My grandma Evelyn gave me a stainless steel bacon grease holder for my wedding. Still using it 21 years later.
    My folks had a Hills Bros coffee can for most of my life. You didn't season anything without bacon grease.
