"What exactly IS this year's prom theme?" Skank!!!! Hands down that has to be the theme. Todays moms and dads should be proud that they are offering their delectable daughters to the altar of debauchery! Seriously folks, what the heck is/was the reason for a prom!?!?! Wasn't it suppose to be a chance for the prepubescent crowd to act out an adult function. To play at being adult BEFORE they got a chance to "go out into the world"? A chance to show to society that they will continue the societal norms needed to continue the republic? Now it seems as if all it's a chance to have your daughter ravished by the excessively hormonal males of that age group. I mean look at some of those dresses they wear!!! Shoot, even in my dreams I never thought about.....but I digress. If I had kids in school these days; I don't think I would let them go to a prom. Sometimes I think the Duggers are right! Steve
Steve, Our high school requires all students to ride to and from the prom on a chaperoned bus. No students are allowed to leave the venue and then return. I went with my daughter because of her condition, and what I saw was a bunch of kids having fun, lots of two-stepping and waltzing (we are texas)and not a twerk in sight. It all depends on where you are. Angel
I'm glad your high school is doing the sensible thing. Yeah, I agree, "it all depends on where you are". But the point is still the same. Some of those proms are nothing less then meat markets or hook ups for the welfare crowd. Steve (I could be characterized as a cranky....hey kid get off my grass!)

Yup - Headshot!
ReplyDeleteIt's either the prom from 'Scanners' or an updated version of Carrie.

I think that mannequin went shopping at the "Chopping Mall"! And a fine movie it was.
