vaquero viejo, tough is not standing in the path of a 150mph tornado year after year. When the Republic of Texas joined the Union, it included Oklahoma. When they applied for statehood, they for some reason didn't want to include that region. For good reason.
I'm thinkin the texicans didn't want anymore of the comanches is why they let it go...hell, we get a fair share of twisters in the Panhandle....course, come to think of it, the rest of Texas doesn't know we are here,either........
