What do y'all think? 1/2 Maltese and 1/2 Schnauzer, first round of shots and puppy pad trained. Can go meet him and his folks tomorrow and see how we get on. Not taking the Cute Chicks because then it would be a done deal. Period.
Sometimes, what the cute chicks need trumps all. Pets have very calming and centering qualities for autistic people. TQ has been missing her Charliedog and really kind of drifting away from me.
Just better hide all the socks and undies. I see a chewer in your future. A while back, I got a golden retriever and she was shut in the mud room at night. Most of the moulding at the bottom of the walls was destroyed. After she became an outdoor dog, I replaced and carefully painted new moulding. Then we got the dachshund. The little Nazi did the same thing. It's been four years, and I haven't fixed it yet. Frankly a bit low on the to do list.
hell, get the pup...dogs are good for kids....and for kids' parents....and...I'm getting you some victoria's secrets undies to match your the ones you wore down the wall of Palo Duro Canyon....
I have had experience with both breeds and liked each of them. Can't speak to a mix though Get pet insurance if you can afford it, it could save you a bundle down the road.

Fun fact: baby animals are cute so that their parents will be inclined to take care of them. This goes for more than just humans. Baby animals don't just happen to be cute. They're designed that way.
This does have the side-effect that most animals are at least somewhat inclined to take care of babies of any species. Particularly, humans taking care of little fuzzy cute things.
I would fry him
ReplyDeleteHe would be Teen Queen's BFF, good luck with that.
ReplyDeleteSure you need the complications just now then?
ReplyDeleteJust food for thinking' and all that.

ReplyDelete...but...but teen queen....?
ReplyDeleteI'll just have to keep Victoria's Secrets, um, well, SECRET.
ReplyDeleteHe looks really cute, I'd give him a try.
ReplyDeleteHe'll be one of the family in no time, once he learns the ropes. Good for security, too. I'm sure he'll travel well.
ReplyDeleteYoung 'uns need a pet or two.

You may have to get two.
ReplyDeleteA dog is fine, just don't become the crazy cat lady next door, I have one of those. She puts food out for all the strays.

It is said that after a bit, dogs begin to resemble their owners.
ReplyDeleteMy ever-lovin' wife has been looking for a dog for me that looks like a young Sean Connery.
I'd say go for it. Unconditional love is something rare and precious.
