Got anything on tectonic plates?

  1. Fun piece of trivia: there's a layer of granite known as "Precambrian Granite," which is basically the oldest solid rock on Earth. It also universally shows signs of being formed in the presence of Polonium, an excitable little radioactive material with a half-life between a couple of months and about a century, depending on the isotope. Which means all of the Precambrian granite in the world was formed within a period of at most a few hundred years, possibly as little as a few hours.
