for every horse with a "trick" there is a coyote horse trainer/trader with a "treat"....read some of Ben Green's "Horse Tradin" for some cagey "remedies".....
i had one that would walk up to the biggest tree he could find and plant his head up against it when he got tired of me on his back. nothin i could do would make him budge until i hopped off, then he made a beeline for the stable.
