That hits home. I lost Peanut two years ago this week. Adopted Penny just over a month later. Couldn't live in an empty house again. So many out there that need adopting.
What bayouwolf said. It really stings when you lose a beloved pet. After HouseCat #2 passed, this place was pretty dreary. HC#3 is about 2 years old now, still blasts around here like a maniac. Love 'em while you've got 'em.
