Collective punishment does have its place though. Israel used to bulldoze the home of any pali terrorist and the homes of their parents, children and siblings. Until they stopped it kept the terrorists in line mostly.
Muslims are about clan honor and so individual punishment means nothing compaired to what they think is awaiting in heaven. Collective punishment hurts the clan.
The very word "collective" makes my blood boil. It is like "The common good". Bat shit. Individual Liberty!!!!
