Don't Mess With Texas

An elderly man in Dallas exercised his God-given right to defend his home from an intruder. Just another reason why I love Texas. But read the story to find out how the perp's family, and I'm going out on a limb here, assumedly Obama supporters, reacted to the news from the police.

"Once police identified the suspect as Pipkins, officers notified his family. Some of those family members showed up at the house and expressed their anger at the homeowner for not issuing a “warning.”

“He could have used a warning,” Lakesha Thompson, Pipkins’ sister-in-law, said. “He could have let him know that he did have a gun on his property and he would use it in self-defense.”

Perhaps, Mr. Pipkins should have assumed there would be a gun on the property, an American who knew how to use the gun, and that his unannounced visit would not be welcomed.

  1. See, I'm thinking that maybe the homeowner should sue thug Deyfon's family for not raising him up right and causing the homeowner undue anguish over having to shoot his ass.

  4. To add to wc's comment, he also needs to sue for the cost of the bio-hazard clean-up and get a restraining order against the rest of the family. And just how did the relative know that he had been shot to call the sister, was she waiting out side for him to come out?

  5. hbbill, it was after officers notified the family. WTF they felt it necessary to tell them where their beloved was shot and by whom is beyond me.

  6. Lunacy!!

BTW. My family comes from Texas. One branch still owns the ranch on the Clear Fork of the Brazos that we settled in the 1850s.

I was a military brat, that's how I wound up in Commiefornia.

  7. The SCOTUS has ruled that it is unconstitutional to execute those who are mentally handicapped. So that means all the perps need to do is wear ObamAA- shirts to get off scot free.
Poor old fella, probably couldn't afford a warning shot, or maybe ammo is in that short of supply.
