Good morning, kiddies!

So making these in the morning. And I can think of a million variations. Blueberries, chocolate chips, maple syrup, oh yummy yummy yummy....


In case you can't embiggen, here's the recipe:

1 3/4 c all purpose flour
1 1/2 tsp baking powder
1/2 tsp salt
1/2 tsp nutmeg
1/4 tsp cinnamon
1/3 cup vegetable oil
3/4 cup sugar
1 egg
3/4 cup milk

Combine dry ingredients. Mix liquids in separate bowl. Add liquids to dry and mix well, without overbeating. Spoon mixture into muffin cups. Bake at 350 for 20-25 minutes.

While muffins are baking, prepare sugar topping:
1/4 c. sugar
1/4 tsp. cinnamon
1/2 cup melted butter

While hot, dip muffin tops in melted butter and then in cinnamon sugar topping.
