Charlie always knew

I don't know how, but she did. I could be in complete seclusion putting the pill in a chunk of cheese, then mixing it with other chunks of cheese. When I would put the chunks in front of her, she'd snorf down the unpolluted cheese and stare at the pill cheese. Then she'd pick it up in her teeth, lips pulled way back, and carry it under the deck and bury it. Then she'd look at me accusingly.

Yes indeed. My late friend Skipper always knew the jig was up when large chunks of people food appeared in the bowl. A quick glance, scarf down everything and leave the pill. Daddy's hand half way down his throat, and finally after four attempts and holding him closed under duress. May I say also, he was the companion of a lifetime and I miss him terribly.

Change the name, and he to she and Jack already said it all.

I have to break up a Trifexis tablet into smaller pieces and smother it in cheddar cheese and she still won't eat it. Had to resort to the way my grandpa gave his hunting dogs their pills. Grab their bottom jaw, hold the mouth open and use his thumb to shove it down their throat. I Penny's case, just a finger tip. 10 pounds of Terror(ier)

Lol, as a owner of a corgi, I know that little shit is smiling because he'll eat the bacon and spit the damn pill out.

Hell our 3 lab mutts eat them plain. Started them off early with these puppy multi vitamins and we've never had a problem.

Easiest way in the world to give a dog pills....
1. At irregular intervals put a pea sized blob of p-nut butter on your finger and let the dog lick it off as a treat. You can start this at any age but younger is probably better.

2. When the need arises to give your dog a pill, simply put the p-nut butter on your finger and touch the pill/s with it (they stick like glue) and present to the dog like normal. I always present my finger so they cannot see the p-nut butter but they can easily lick it off.

I incorporated an upbeat phrase "Puppies want pills?" and now no matter where we are if I say that phrase I better have some damned p-nut butter nearby! Crunchy p-nut butter is best so they are used to the "chunks" but my dogs don't care which type I use.
