Rants, Raves and Recipes from the Edge of Sanity
Spot on. We lost our Berner last summer, and have finally starting to get over it. With luck, we'll have another family member (another Berner) in the next few weeks, as just being a former owner and a lover of the breed puts us towards the top of the list. Good luck in you search. I know you'll hook up with the perfect one for you and yours.
Yep! i need to throw a fence around the back yard and go get a 4 legged friend myself.
Check out adopting a military working dog. I've got an 11 year old GSD I've had since a pup. Trained him for SAR work, one of the most intelligent beast I've had the pleasure of working for. He's retired now, doing what dogs do best. When he's ready to take the great ride, I'll put in my app to adopt a MWD.
they teach us about love, they teach us about loss, they teach us about life....the world would be a sad place without em.....vaquero viejo
Stop looking for the perfect dog and let yourself fall in love. You'll find each other.
All comments so true... It is always the way to try to find a dog just like... But you can't. Give it up. You will find a new friend, and in no way can he or she match up to your expectations, because it ISN'T your lost pal. Just love 'em for the spirit that they are.But I am telling YOU?Blessings,The Captain
We lost our old Dachshund two weeks ago, she was 14. Sam, our male that we got when Mitzi was just a year old spent his whole life with her around. Now he sits in my lap and looks for her. So do I. The little assholes will tear a hole in your heart.
Yeah, That is why I can't yet get another dog......I'm afraid I will compare the new one to Schmoo..http://middleoftheright.blogspot.com/2012/08/goodbye.htmlhttp://middleoftheright.blogspot.com/2013/08/schmoo-813.html
