Yup, I'm a .45

I have the 40, actually like more than the 9mm. It's a girl gun. Wtf is Hillery doing there

Short and Weak?

1. Forty's a bitch.
2. Everybody hates .40.
3. And, finally, .40's a bitch.

short, fat and heck of a recoil?

The .40 became popular because of the assault weapons ban. When the biggest magazine you could buy for a pistol was 10 rounds, it was a good trade off.

What should be next to Illary is a rubber band gun, or maybe the one chewed into a pop tart.

The 40 was created because the 9 lacked stopping power and, according to the FBI who funded the development, the 45 was too much for female LEOs to handle. Seriously. (and like most federal projects, they wound up with something that combined the worst of the root sample's characteristics: loud, snappy recoil and still lacks stopping power.)

Hilary = 40SW because Obama is weak and Bill handled too many females.

Any caliber would work, but she could do with a .40 S&W right between the eyes!

The .40 S&W is the answer to a question no one asked.

I like my .40SW. I have shot my friends' effeet, poofish 9mm's and found them to be foppish, and more suited to be used by a dandy than a real shooter.

Plus, it's what I own, it doesn't say Taurus on the slide, and the first time I shot it I put 250 rounds down range and was pretty damned accurate at all distances while still having more fun than those poofters shooting Parabellum.

So, I would say the last caliber should actually be .25ACP. Not powerful enough to do anything other than to piss off anyone who actually got hit by the damned thing.

So, all you .40 haters, well, go cry in the closet and go all brokeback mountain with your 9mm pansy guns and leave me and my 'muricin ammo alone.

Just saying.

In 2013 Homeland security was looking to buy 1.6 billion (yes billion)rounds of .40 for the non military part of the gov.

Maybe .40 = Shrillary because they were both groomed for stardom by backroom bean-counters with no connection with real-world conditions, they were both an imposition on their target audience, and they both flopped?

But I'm not a shooter, so what do I know?

(Slue-foot members of the awkward squad should not operate power saws, chainsaws, or guns unless absolutely necessary. We have a RIGHT to, but should leave it to coordinated folk.)

I like the .40. Just don't own one.
Guess I'm a "poofter" then with my P226.
Nice to know.

I don't understand Hillary - .40 S&W reference either. Just guessing that 'The One' that was supposed to be Top Dog - isn't.

And that really ticks off .40 S&W fans.

Didn't HRC use a .38 to kill Vince Foster?

Steve Ronin said...

Naw. that was suicide.

4 rounds to the back of his head.

I have a Taurus in .40, and it puts lead down range like a champ. I've never had to use it against a person, and hope I never do. But, if I have to, it'll be 2 or 3 center mass. I have a Springfield XD in 9 mm. It will probably do okay against pussy thugs and hirabis, but I'd like to put at least 3 to center mass using that one. .38 spcl, .357 mag, all of them, 2 COM. Like the ol' boy said, "If it's worth shooting, it's worth shooting twice."

Mr. WiscoDave,

You, sir, are not an efeet, poofy eurotrash wannabe-seal. You, sir, can use a 9mm because your skill is such that you can strike with anything and it will be deadly.

I was just trying to make fun of the generalizers.

Noting the obvious, the assault weapons ban was her baby.
