The Battling Boys of Benghazi

bump in the road" .... remember that calloused statement?

I don't know the author of this poem, just received it today. Very thought provoking and poignant. I do recall, however, the President referring to the Benghazi incident as "a bump in the road." Today I heard an ex-Navy Seal being interviewed on Fox News regarding a book he has written about how to handle crisis situations in our lives. At the end of the interview he asked if he could make a comment on Benghazi and of course the anchor said yes. He then thanked Fox News for keeping the Benghazi story in the news, since other news organizations are not. He said the Seals who died deserve the public knowing the truth about the whole affair.
The poem was written by a MARINE CORPS Officer (ANON

Thanks to anon for sending this in to me. But I know you know I know who you are. ;-)

Except they weren't Navy SEALS. They had both left the Navy and were working as mercenaries.

First of all Chris, try telling a Marine or SEAL that they aren't Marines or SEALs anymore. Second, mercenaries don't normally run TO the firefight unless the person writing their checks is IN the firefight. These men put their lives on the line to protect Americans. Period.

Also, these NON seals, were told not even to get involved. They did anyway.

Seems to be a pretty good sized shitstorm brewing at the White House today. Even bigger that the one here.

Not really one for poetry, myself....but....damn.

Obummer and his entire cabinet need to be answering some very intense questions that involve the words "treason", "murder", "imprisonment", and "impeachment".

Hi Angel! I linked to this post last night on Facebook. My very libtard older sister clicked on the link (she should know better) and she posted this comment: I hoped that this would be something other than the expected, typical BS but when I accessed it to read the commentary, what do I see but a silhouette of a weapon. NO pictures of or tributes to the people who died but, instead pissing and moaning. What would you have done to prevent this? Oh, wait. What would you have done to keep us out of Iraq or Afghanistan?
Libs, so quick to judge... And I really do like my sister, most of the time ...

Grow up? Nah. She's 60 and still hasn't figured it out yet. I did reply to her post that I would have simply bombed Saudia Arabia. They're the ones that started all this. I've not heard back from her yet. don't think I will, neither :o) What can I say? She lives in Cleveland!!
