In the Navy we had 2 acronyms to cover such things.1. FRED. Fucking ridiculous electronic device.2. FUBAR. Fucked up beyond all repair.Combined, the two acronyms make a succinct sentence.Supervisor: Any luck fixing the radar repeater?Squid: Nah. The FRED's FUBAR.Supervisor: Crap. Keep at it. I'll tell the Skipper.
