WANT vs. NEED

I played the credit card game for years. Then I got married to a woman who came from a very poor family, and we managed to pay everything off and have no credit cards any longer. Mortgage, electric bill, cable bill, and car insurance is all we have every month. It's pretty easy to buy groceries, gasoline, and and other items like stuff for the home and dogs. I actually do have a credit card that I never carry with me unless we travel, just in case of an emergency. It's a simple way of life, and quite enjoyable. My ex devastated me before she ran off with my daughter for some other man. Now she's gone bankrupt, and couldn't even cosign for my daughters college loans any longer. Dad to the rescue. But I didn't cosign, I merely paid for it, and she owes me on our own terms.
