I was on the phone with my wife Sunday. She was born and still lives in Ireland. I lived there almost 18 years till I relaized the olace was driving me "mad". We were discussing St. Patrick's Day and the offensive stuff like drunks and other American created items. She said one of the little publicized offensive things was not the abreviated: "Paddy", but that Americans mistakenly use "Patty" (Girls name) instead due to lack of knowledge. Check your post!
