About two months ago, in the middle of the Great Shoulder BooBoo Incident, I got an email from Clear, our internet provider, that they were pulling out of our little backwoods market on November 6. They thanked us for all the money we'd given them over the years for their really crappy service and wished us luck in finding a new internet provider. Well, hell. I mean, it really was crappy service, but it was there, ya know? So I had two months. Never give a procrastinator two months for anything.
September was a lost month because I was sick as a dog, the first part of October was taken up with the Cute Chicks being sickly, and the last part of October was taken up by all the shit I didn't get done in the previous 6 weeks.
I woke up Monday, after 4 hours of sleep (thank you, Baby Queen) and realized Friday was November 6. Shit! So I called around to the 3 possible internet providers that are willing to cover Bumfuck Nowhere, Texas. Guess what? So has everyone else, only they did it earlier and were already scheduled for the service (most of this requires satellite dishes, wiring, etc.). First choice would be sometime in mid December. Second choice just laughed and laughed. Third and final choice, the local cable company, said "Yeah, sure, how about next week?" Well, it's better than next month, so I went with it.
Long story short, I won't have internet service from Friday midnight to sometime Tuesday. I'll try to pre-post some shit, but if I don't, don't get freaked out. I'll be back. Here's something to make up for the inconvenience.

I keep watching in the hope that once, just once, she'll move one of her arms just a little bit off to the side....
I don't suppose Century Link is available in your area at all. They're who I use. Converted a friend of mine in Minnesota over from Comcast, and she has zero regrets.
No reason to do anything today that can be put off until it's almost too late!
That must be good advice cause I've been following it for years!
(ps/ I'm still not a robot!)
One more hassle that you didn't need. Hope the chickie babes are ok now. We shall miss your posts and look forward to you being back making us laugh and thinking about how absurd life can be. You rock girl.
You can just sign up for Juno's free dial-up service. 10 hours a month, what more do you need?

Ten hours? Seriously? That doesn't cover porn and shopping.
It'll be good for you. Repeat that over and over. And drink

...I'll never get those nine minutes back. Take a break. Chase the kids around the yard.
Have a well earned weekend off. This young lady thinks you deserve it too. Two thumbs up!
If your downloading porn over dial up your fucked anyway.
You know what - your looks haven't changed that much. That's a good looking GIF. Was that about your junior year in college spring break, right?

I have about 500ft of cat5 out in the barn...how big can texas be. Good luck! Our ISP in west, west, west, west Houston got so bad I had to move to a little peanut shop with LOS internet, now I get rain fade all the time.
Stay away from satellite Internet unless you have absolutely no other choice.

There may be a similar issue in my future.
Property is in rural SE Colorado. Electricity to property line but
no cellular coverage or telephone lines nearby. So it appears my only option is satellite?
Anyway, thank you for that delicious GIF.
