I'd use a pump action Kalthoff and blow them all away without reloading, and depending on the magazine have 2 to 26 rounds left. Of course by that time you couldn't see for the powder smoke.
A "swivel gun" is a small cannon with a 1 to 2 inch bore, mounted in an "oar lock" on a railing or wall, and loaded with anything up to 2 pounds of lead balls, nails, nuts and bolts, scrap metal and dead animal parts. Use one in a confined space and you won't need the bayonet. Or the medics. It will kill or maim EVERY LIVING THING in a 30DEG. cone out to 50 yards, and maim or wound 50% out to 300 yards. They were often mounted in outsized "Gunn Stocks" with match or flint locks. (I cannot even IMAGIN firing one from a shoulder rest, as the recoil would have been comparable to the .577 T-Rex) Other "swivel's" had a "tail piece" that looked like a boat tiller. I don't think they were any more fun to fire.---Ray
Jest' gimmi' my 1911, a couple of extra mags and my H&R "Paardner" short barrel "5 in the tube- 1 in the chamber" loaded with "00" Buck (at this point I don't care if it's long or short brass) a few spare rounds and a spare 9 mm on my side......Close in Air Support wouldn't be bad either....."Gypsy Bandit Leader to Ground, have target locked.....stand by!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!" Black powder double barrel shotgun with exposed hammers, and break action. Just saying.....
And since the bayonet gets stuck in the fourth intruder, you have to draw your saber to end the fifth one rightly.
