That would bug the hell out of me too, and I am not the type who is all that critical of such things. But right is right and wrong is wrong. That is just wrong.
I'm loudly laughing. Not because you overlooked it for years, not even because you find distressing what most would call trivial (the morons), but because while caught in those kinds of predicaments, I then spend an inordinate amount of time (think $$$) to correct it so at least I can sleep at night knowing I have done my part to maintain the world in balance. Otherwise, hara-kiri seems a viable option.
