Yes, I admit it, I have done this before. But you spend almost 18 hours in an underwire push-up bra and see how well you handle it. It was mid-terms, I was in the stacks researching a paper on some obscure FCC rule about saying "fuck and shit" on the air (honest, I didn't know the mic was hot), and I just couldn't take it anymore. I did that nifty trick that all women can do, unhooked the son of a bitch, worked my arms out of the straps and pulled it out through my sleeve. I didn't hang it on the chair, just tossed it on the table.                                                                                                                                                                              

Now seriously, I'm guessing that's a pretty big bra there. I never understood why any woman over a C cup would wear a heavily padded underwire cup. That's just too much. That's like putting the girls in a straight jacket.

Dear God in Heaven

I was thinking it was sometime soon, I didn't realize it was TODAY! One year ago, this very day, I dipped my tootsies in the blog pool. Aw hell, I cannonballed off the high dive. And I've loved every minute of it. I've met some wonderful Patriots, made some lifelong friends, met some whack-a-doos, and met some creeps. I've laughed with y'all, cried on your shoulders, mourned your loved ones with you and had you hold my hand when I lost my Charlie dog. You've been supportive and forgiving, and you've been the most wonderful loyal readers I could have ever hoped to have.

My eternal thanks to wirecutter and Kerodin, for keeping me safe when I do stupid girly shit. And to the rest of you who try to lure me into doing stupid girly stuff. I hope I can keep y'all entertained, informed, and questioning for another 365 days. And looky at the hits! 717,732! Hey, wirecutter, how long did it take you to hit 1 Million? Heh heh heh....

There was a little swimmin' hole not too far from granny and granddad's in Archer City, TX where we'd go play every afternoon after chores. Until dark. Or the skeeters drove us home. Daughter of Reverend “God Damn America” Wright and 12 other Democrats are charged with embezzling $16 million in Federal health grants that should have gone to AIDS charities and other programs for the poor and needy.

More than one of the defendants has direct ties to President Barack Obama. The Sun Times details the charges.

Thirteen people have been charged so far, six who have pleaded guilty.

Two of them have ties to President Barack Obama. One is the daughter of his controversial former pastor, the Rev. Jeremiah Wright. Another was chief of staff to Obama’s longtime friend Eric E. Whitaker when Whitaker was Illinois’ public health chief.
