Yes, I breastfed, both Cute Chicks, each for a year. And this is in spite of them both cutting teeth at 3 months. I was devoted. 3am feedings with Baby Queen, watching a wide open mouth with sharp little baby teeth lunging at my tender bits. You know, I wouldn't trade that time for anything, but I'm glad it's over. So dudes, you know your little saying, "Mind the teeth"? Yeah, goes double for breastfeeding.

Breastfed my imp for 18 months, then he told me yeuch!, and I found out it was because I was pregnant with the pixie. She breastfed for two and a half years...and she bit. Hard. And often. From about nine to about eighteen months. I had to bite her to teach her not to.
2-1/2 years? Sounds like you REALLY enjoyed it.
I rubbed a warm nipple this morning, does that count?
Anon: less that, more that she was difficult to get to sleep, and that was the only sure way to do it.
Amen to that, many a time Baby Queen would fall asleep mid-suckle, my nipple popping out of her mouth and a line of milk trickling down her chin.
I'm a wee bit curious why you chose the Guernsey as your role breed?
Ian, my granny and granddad had a Guernsey named Molly, she was super sweet and the first cow I ever milked.
Guernsey's have some of the richest milk. Lot's of cream for butter making.
The little barracuda bit me today, when I got after him he laughed. After I popped him off after the second round of biting, he gave me one of those sharp fingernailed titty twisters that only munchkin sized ones can give. We were done for a while.
