Yeah, that painting show was typical Sunday morning TV in the USA in the late 60s and early 70s. You had your choice of Painting, or Gospel Musical Shows, or some bland local show, or Meet The Press. The word "wasteland" almost describes it. Or maybe the word "hurl" would be a better description... And you had all the choices you wanted, as long as they could be found on channels 2, 4, or 5. (Nobody watched channel 8, the Public Television channel).
Okay, I forgot about "The Woodwright's Shop" I won't hear a word against him because that man was a God. A God.
