There was a girl, or maybe a couple of girls, who I would chat with online, and she(they?) would say this periodically. I would always immediately do so.
The following conversation would occur on my eventual return. Her/them: "WHY DID YOU LEAVE!?" me: "Because you told me to."
Seriously girls, don't tell a guy you like him if you want him to go away. Don't tell a guy to go away unless you want him to. It's abusive, you're only going to confuse him, and you're setting yourself up for MASSIVE stress.
