Its been postulated that this is a Photoshop image. I hope like heck it is....cuz whatever city/county threw this together would find all of their events woefully under-attended.
I live in the DC area. I USED to go downtown to the mall to catch the fireworks. (DC native, I can find a parking place...)However, they now search everyone, and then herd you into an enclosure to "celabrate your freedom" The morons still attend in droves, how very sad. I won't be back until after the restoration.

There isn't a sign like this, but I know Rules #1-6 are enforced at the local park for the 4th fireworks.

I did some searching and found that is not fake. That is from Lakewood, Ohio.
