Fuck Government, part 2: Chloe's Cupcakes

Growing up, I had lemonade stands, pet sitting, lawn mowing, and sold Christmas treat boxes to make extra spending money. My folks encouraged this, offered advice, but for the most part stayed out of my way. My efforts, my rewards. Had any pencil-dick geek dared to shut me down for some pissy little bureaucratic nonsense, he would have had to go through Poppy first.

We arm Mexican drug cartels and leave Americans to be slaughtered in Benghazi (at this point, what difference does it make? Hillary Clinton), but God forbid a child put down the joystick, get up and do something productive. Hell, we have to call in the Marines and stop these Liberty-producing shenanigans!
Fuck government bureaucracies from bottom up and top down.
Then fuck them sideways.
With a KitchenAid blender.
On high speed.


Unintended Consequence -- Crackdown!  That glowing story about the 11-year-old girl entrepreneur was read by business-hating government bureaucrats, and they immediately shut down her cupcake business.  Well-paid bureaucrats do not live in Troy; they all live in bigger houses in bigger cities, but when they read that story, they instinctively knew that cupcake girl must be punished and her business destroyed.

The government acted rapidly.  One day after the newspaper story appeared, bureaucrats told Chloe's mother they were shutting her down.  Chloe, it seems, was unaware that in this free country she had to pay the government for the privilege of selling her cupcakes.
