Except the USMC is part of the government bureaucracy and thus, by definition, under the control of liberals. The guys in the top picture do whatever Obama says, live in government provided housing, have government health care, send their kids to government schools, and can absolutely be counted on to oppress you if they are told to do so. And if you look at voting records, younger US military people vote exactly the same as younger people not in the military (70% liberals). Even the officers are not universlly conservative. By the time they get to be generals they are exclusively big government nanny-state types.
it would be like the North versus the south in the Civil War. Ideologies Crossing family lines . My family has liberals and conservatives, creating passionate debates and hard feelings.
