How's the eye surgery thing going?

It isn't. I can still read assisted and drive with corrective lenses, just at 20/60. It's irritating, but according to my insurance, not debilitating. So it's either pay out of pocket now, or suck it up and wait for the cataracts to get worse.

Anyone with kids knows the joy of eternal laundry.

With every load, I come closer to becoming a nudist.

Ah, but for every load you don't wash, you also get closer to being a nudist. Or smelling real funny.

Angel, with respect a hint from an old hand at this kid thing. Leave the clothes on the floor, close the door and wait. (It will be difficult for you, but trust me.) After they run out of clean clothes and come whining to you asking why they don't have any clean clothes simply point to the floor and walk away. No screaming or yelling, just walk away. They will get it. They are old enough to wash their own clothes, and if they mess it up to force you into doing it for them, simply shrug and ignore their pleas. Tough love is the hardest, but better in the long run. With love, Granny

It might work on the spouse when he's not on the road, we've tried training the Cute Chicks, but the finer points of laundry machines elude autistic kids. So it lands on me until I can get a maid.

It is sad that they are autistic but does that mean they can't even bring their clothes to the laundry area?
Never having had to face that level of dilemma, I don't mean to be insensitive to your problems.
It might be said that I was blessed with run of the mill, manipulative lazy assed kids. They are both in their 50's now and thank me for not drowning them. Hang in there kiddo.

I can so sympathize. We found bed bugs in a room. The garage is now full of every cloth in the house. Over 86 bags to run through the washer and dryer on hot. Anything that cannot survive that treatment needs to go in the freezer for 4 days. I can so feel that song...

Shit, I got the shirt.
No kids but for some reason both machines run around the clock.
Nudism sounds good.
