I wish I were going to the range today instead of the Dentist. I'm pretty sure there's a root canal or tooth pulling in my future today.
Did you ever see the movie Marathon Man, with Dustin Hoffman? Remember the scene where Olivier was drilling Hoffman's teeth without numbing them? That's the way a Dental visit always plays out in my head. It's never that bad, of course, but still....
You need to find a dentist that is also a anesthesiologist. I had my wisdom teeth and another tooth yanked and had a bone graft done for a future implant, and I did not feel a thing. I woke up saying "far out man."

You need to talk to wirecutter. Sounds like y'all go to the same sadistic dentist. I had a filling Tuesday and my face is just now regaining feeling.
