Absence

The sun is shining, the wind is practically nil, and it's time to get busy on the greenhouse. We've got the 2x8 forms, the geotextile down, the 30" pipe sleeves pounded into the ground, and now it's bending time.

Going to be a long, hot, sweaty day and I'm so looking forward to it. In addition to all that, I'll still be doing my mommy/domestic goddess duties.

I look forward to the day when, standing before the judge and jury, I can answer the question "Why did you dismember your husband?" with the response, "After 10 hours of hard, hot and sweaty work (and not the kinky kind), he looked at me and asked what I was making for dinner. I don't remember anything after that until I was pushing his last leg through the chipper." We'll see how this goes. Remember, he's been home ALL FUCKING WEEK. If I'm not back on here by this evening, please start fundraisers for bail money.

Hugs y'all,

Angel

Technically, it will be 20 years in July. There is so much more to the sad story, but not something y'all want to know.

And Farmer John, the trade off is still the meal you get is in direct proportion to the number of, um, you know, I get. Right now, all I feel inclined to fix is gruel. Cold gruel.

Chipper/Shredder Maintenance Tips

To keep your machine in good condition through the years, make sure you follow the wood chipper maintenance chart above. It's also important to purchase genuine, original manufacturer chipper/shredder parts when you need replacements. These shredder maintenance tips will help make sure you're taking care of your equipment properly.
Check bolts and screws for proper tightness at frequent intervals to keep the machine in safe working condition. Replace if necessary.
Stop the engine and make certain the impeller and all moving parts have stopped before cleaning, repairing or inspecting. Disconnect the spark plug wire and ground it against the engine to prevent the chipper from starting unintentionally.
Maintain or replace safety and instruction labels, as necessary.
If the flail screen becomes clogged, remove and clean. Cleaning with forceful spray is not recommended as it could contaminate the fuel system.
Use a brush or dry cloth to clean chute and around muffler.
Empty any debris before trying to start your chipper/shredder.
Turn engine off if it jams or clogs. Disconnect the spark plug and carefully inspect the machine, removing any material that may be in the way.
When done using your chipper/shredder, make sure no debris is left inside, allow the engine to cool then wipe down exterior.
Change the oil after the first 8 hours.
Keep the control linkage clean and debris free to prevent control switch malfunctions.
Use light machine oil when lubricating.

Just sayin' ;)

Damn, rpm, didn't realize it would be that freaking big, and it isn't letting me delete it. You know what this means, right? Accessory.

Sorry, I missed deleting a bunch of type! My fault.
I might have a new spark plug laying around somewhere...
