Now I don't know how this happened, but I've already won one award compliments of OldAFSarge; and now I've been nominated for the Coolest SOB in the Conservative Blogosphere. I am honored. Puzzled, but honored. Looking at the list of bloggers is like looking at the Hall of Fame.
There are people there who I read daily, revere, and try hard to emulate. Both Mockarena and Daisy from Chicks on the Right; my Blogfather, Wirecutter, who pushed me into blogging and taught me everything I know; good friends Pissed, MissK and AngryMike. I mean, seriously, I feel like Alice through the Looking Glass, how did I get here?
This isn't a plea for votes; I'm very Groucho Marx about this, "I wouldn't want to belong to any club that would have me as a member ". But it is a plea for y'all to go vote for the people who pound their hearts out on the keyboard for your entertainment and enlightenment. Voting is open, so scoot. Tell 'em Angel sent you.
