Two Classics: Baxter Black on Johnny Carson

One of my favorite poets (not quite Def Jam, huh?) and Johnny Carson, whose show ceased to be The Tonight Show and simply became The Carson Show.

I love Mr. Black - a truly funny guy, almost a new age Mark Twain. ANother one of my favorites: homeboy Lewis Grizzard - https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=imZjCbRuZ3c

Is it just me, or is there more than a hint of Robin Williams in that delivery?

Now that I check, there is only six years between birth dates of the two, so it is unlikely that Williams is derivative.

Classic stuff....and so is Baxter, who is the real deal.... I have seen him perform a lot of stuff live, and got to visit with him some...and the closer you get, the funnier he gets.......
