Another Obama Shutdown Fuck You

WWII Vets? Oh hell no.
La Raza and the Immigration Reform group? Come on in, brothers and sisters, it's your Constitutionally protected 1st Amendment right to gather....

A planned immigration reform rally will take place on the National Mall on Tuesday even though the site is closed due to the government shutdown.

Organizers for the "Camino Americano: March for Immigration Reform" were spotted Monday setting up a stage and equipment on the National Mall for the rally which will take place on Tuesday.
A few scattered barriers around the park have signs informing visitors that the area is closed as a result of the government shutdown.

Susana Flores, a spokesperson for the rally, confirmed for the Washington Examiner that the Park Service will allow the event to take place under the group's rights granted by the First Amendment.

About 30 members of Congress are expected to attend the rally, including House Minority Leader Nancy Pelosi, D-Calif., and Sen. Robert Menendez, D-N.J.

I have heard speculation that the American Nazi Party (I shall never refer to them as Democrats as Nazi ideology is progressive in nature and Nazi racial theories had some origin in American progressivism) are deliberately trying to start a fight, yet it is probable that it is a severe miscalculation (similar to the Japanese attack on Pearl Harbor having the opposite effect of what the Japanese were counting on).

Vets and bikers have crashed barricades three times in the past week, and certain businesses on federal lands are refusing orders to shut down and be evicted. The 1 Million Truckers to Shut Down America movement is gathering steam as well.

I think conservatives and libertarians may be at a disadvantage here. Sure. A lot of us are military vets, and many hunters, gun owners and such. But then again, most of us grew up to not only love our country but to respect authority. Just look at the difference between the law abiding Tea party demonstrations of a few years ago as compared to the violence and lawlessness of the OWS movement. I guess what I am saying is that if push comes to shove, we need to get MEAN. I just do not see a lot of people on our side that way. I believe once we are finally provoked to the point of getting MEAN, it will be too late. Again, just a thought, I am not advocating violence, but the day may come when we will be pushed to it. Will we be up to it, or will our love of country and the rule of law that was instilled in us be a stumbling block? Just look at how ruthless the other side is. Any thoughts?

Now remember, when things look bad and it looks like you're not gonna make it, then you gotta get mean. I mean plumb, mad-dog mean. 'Cause if you lose your head and you give up then you neither live nor win. That's just the way it is. The outlaw Josie Wales.

I know plenty of Patriots who can get plenty mean. The difference is that they are grounded, measured, and methodical as opposed to destructive, cruel and indiscriminate. I have faith in the Patriots I know to pull the savage out when it's time, and to do it with a measure of purpose.

Big difference between Mean and Spiteful. The folks who oppose us and are bent on destroying America are spiteful. They had best pray to whatever passes for a deity in their small little existance that they never ever provoke us to the point where we get mean. Spiteful is kicking a dog because you can. Mean is ripping off the kickers leg and choking them with it. Its their move.

Nice people can be the meanest of all. Beware The Nice Ones trope exists for a reason.

If you have to look along the shaft of an arrow from the wrong end, if a man has you entirely at his mercy, then hope like hell that man is an evil man. Because the evil like power, power over people, and they want to see you in fear. They want you to know you're going to die. So they'll talk. They'll gloat. They'll watch you squirm. They'll put off the moment of murder like another man will put off a good cigar. So hope like hell your captor is an evil man. A good man will kill you with hardly a word.
