Okay, I've been chewed on for not being more forthcoming.
The last three days have been Can-apalooza.
Canning, canning, canning, canning, until I can't see straight.
I have something coming up next week that will take me offline for a few days.
So don't look for a lot of activity until later in the week or next weekend.

I'm elbows deep in peaches here, so I get it. ;-)
Does that mean that not even CLARK GRISWOLD HIMSELF, after driving across the country with his family, his dead aunt and dead dog, and even after flirting with Christie Brinkley, were to arrive brandishing his new BB gun, that even HE would not be able to play in that playground?
If that is true, we best let you have privacy whilst you do your canning (somehow I get the impression Clark's BB gun would be SLIGHTLY out gunned if it were to cross that orange fence line).
Glad to hear it's not closed because UC Santa Cruz's slug mascot is camped out awaiting its next 'playmate'.
No need for apologies. First rule when preparing for the zombie apocalypse is prepare for the zombie apocalypse, and don't tell anyone.
Now, ..since you've shown your hand..in the event of a zombie apocalypse that I'm caught inadequately prepared for, I'll be headed for Angels place.....looking for the last of the Hostess Twinkees.
Canning -like farming -does not wait until YOUR
schedule is clear.
Oh yeah, the wife and I have been putting in long days over the stove. So far we've put up apricots, cherries, peaches, pears, tomatoes and tomato juice, applesauce, plums and tonight it's gonna be grape juice.
