Specifically the last two:
NATIONAL RIGHT TO CARRY. The right of self-defense doesn’t stop at the end of your driveway. That’s why I have a concealed carry permit and why tens of millions of Americans do too. That permit should be valid in all 50 states. A driver’s license works in every state, so it’s common sense that a concealed carry permit should work in every state. If we can do that for driving – which is a privilege, not a right – then surely we can do that for concealed carry, which is a right, not a privilege.
MILITARY BASES AND RECRUITING CENTERS. Banning our military from carrying firearms on bases and at recruiting centers is ridiculous. We train our military how to safely and responsibly use firearms, but our current policies leave them defenseless. To make America great again, we need a strong military. To have a strong military, we need to allow them to defend themselves.

Well that all would be a good start... Next we roll back the GCA of 68, The NFA act of 34, and all the rest. All brought to you by the Uniparty of Tyranny...
Were I Trump [of whom I'm no fan], I would further tie it to the Constitutional right to enter the marriage contract [which I support] found in the 14th Amendment. This adds even further weight to the premise that if states cannot bar citizens from carrying out the equal application of contract law, they cannot carry out infringement of the 2nd Amendment.
A good comment from Trump, but he's wrong. Rights do not need a permit. If this is actually his position, and since he said it, I'll take his words as literal, he's pandering to the masses at best, and a hypocrite at worst.
Grog, I agree it doesn't go far enough, but we didn't lose our rights in one fell swoop, they were lost by creeping concessions. Little by little, and that's how we get them back without a revolution and mass bloodshed. This is a start in the right direction, and so far Trump is the only one who has taken this bold a position on 2nd Amendment rights.
I agree, Angel, the removal of Rights was accomplished over decades, little by little. And as you typed, that is how to restore them. So, if Trump is still around for the election, this will be a good start for Restoration.
As for the revolution and blood comment, I don't know anyone that wants that, but the people who are doing what they want don't give a shit about what we want. So the future is going to be what it is.
Trump is by far not my first choice, but he's still in the top 4.
Trump, Paul, Fiorina, and Carson. I call them "The 4 Horsemen of the Democrat Apocalypse" this election cycle.
step in the right direction...."journey of a 1,000 miles begins with a single step"......

I would like to also see a candidate say, "To any muslims who are contemplating a terrorist attack against Americans.... Know this, that we will feed your remains to pigs, so instead of getting '72 virgins' you will instead become pig-shit! We will do this to each and every islamist who attacks us, without fail!"

I don't expect Trump to be right or even to follow my position on everything.
It's because he's a wild card and isn't going to reliably disappoint us as all the previous candidates have that I'm willing to chance him.
We have to try something different because it is just not working the way it's been going.
